[ Oh, look! A new video entry. It starts up and it's… upside down. Actually it's more like the picture is twirling, so even though it starts upside down it's slowly turning until it's right-side up for a moment, revealing a teenage girl staring at it suspiciously before the slow spinning starts up again as she turns the journal around in her hands. ]

If this really is a camera it's the smallest one I've ever seen. [ She finally comments, stopping the spinning so that she is sideways on the screen. ] And what good is it even supposed to do, anyway?! Is this some kind of mover thing? Can anyone see me? Can anyone-

[ The video suddenly freezes as if she'd paused it, then starts up again. ] -like I'm talking to a book. Great. I get kidnapped or lost or whatever and I'm talking to a book. This is just- [ It pauses for a few seconds again. ] -I can't believe- [ Pause. ] -who even- [ Pause. Finally after what seems like a longer pause the video finally starts playing again and Korra is finally facing the right way with the camera. She looks pretty panicked. ]

Okay, this book is weird. It started talking to me and there's all sorts of writing but why do I even have this? Who even are you people writing in here? This is ridiculous. I'm leaving. ...As soon as I find the exit.

[ Korra's managed to find her way to the actual village now, still wearing the white shirt and pants she arrived in but a little more focused and less panicked. This wasn't the weirdest thing that's ever happened to her after all! Well, it probably wasn't anyway, but she wasn't about to sit around comparing them. She'd woken up in a forest with a weird book and nothing else, not even her own clothing let alone an explanation. Flipping through the pages of the book had given her a few details (although not as many as there could have been considering she wasn't exactly patient enough to sit around and read thoroughly at the moment) but really the BEST way to figure something out was to get up and out and see what it was with your own eyes.

Sometimes, anyway.

Seeing buildings had been a huge relief but the closer she got to them the more she found herself pausing. Of course part of her wanted to run right in and start demanding answers. The biggest part, really. But there was another, much smaller part that was telling her to be cautious and patient about the situation to avoid doing anything reckless.

That part sounded an awful lot like Tenzin.

Sure, she wasn't the best at taking his advice back home but in this situation she had to grudgingly admit that maybe she should at least start out cautious. Which is why she's now slowly peeking around a building, one hand against the wall and the other held up as if expecting a fight at any second- ]

[Around one corner? There's a now fairly tall teen airbender, just playing with a flying lemur who is zipping around him.]

Come on, Momo! You're going too fast! [He doesn't yet notice the one who is watching him...]

[ Okay, it's not the horrible spirit monster she was expecting. That's a good sign. In fact… is that a lemur? Excitement bubbles up in her as Korra immediately runs over, caution and patience forgotten. Sorry, Tenzin-voiced-advice! ]

An Air Acolyte! I am SO glad to see you! Are we near an Air Temple? [ However, now that she's closer she can see that this particular "Air Acolyte" has tattoos and a really familiar face. ]

…Aang? [ Korra rubs her eyes but amazingly that doesn't get rid of the person standing in front of her. ] What- am I dreaming?

[Aang hears that voice - that oh-so-familiar voice - and he turns to face her, gaping in shock as she talks. It really is her. Once again, she's here.]

Korra... [He mutters with friendly affection, even if he's too surprised to smile fully to match that. Then he starts waving his hands in front of him.] No dream, really! It's... kind of a lot weirder than that!

[As for Momo? He's decided to swoop right towards Korra's face with a high-pitched screech.]

[Iroh is sitting with a Tsungni Horn in middle of town playing a favourite tune]

[ Apparently she's appeared in the middle of a concert. She lowers her hand slightly, deciding that attacking musicians is probably not going to get her anywhere, and moves closer. ]

Uh, hello? Not to interrupt or anything, but… [ Wait a second. Sure, he was a little less white in hair and beard but that was definitely someone she knew. ] Iroh! [ Oh THANK YOU UNIVERSE, everything was starting to make sense! This must be the Spirit World. How she got here she has no idea but it explained some things. ]

It's so good to see you! Like, seriously good to see you. I am so lost.

[Iroh stops playing and puts down the Tsungni Horn beside him]

Ah, hello Korra. It is good to see you as well.

[He smiles, they hadn't talked a great deal when she was here before, but it was nice to see a familiar face]

Whoa, whoa, cool it down. You're going to make everyone dizzy if you keep doing things like that. Not to mention it makes it really hard to understand what you're saying.

[Seriously. He shakes his head a little bit, as if to clear his head.]

So other people ARE watching it? [ CONFIRMATION. Well, more confirmation than she had before, anyway. ] Well excuse me, I haven't exactly had a lot of practice with weird camera books before. I think I'm getting the hang of it now, though- [ She totally hasn't accidentally paused it. Again. Yet. ]

Newcomer? I-I guess you could say that, I just woke up in the middle of the woods here. [ She's about to ask if he's from here but… looking at that face there's something awfully familiar about it (thanks for being famous in the future, Sokka!) but there's only so much weirdness she can take at once. ] You're… uh…. [ Now she's just giving him a weird look. ]

[Sokka is taken back a little bit as Korra starts giving him that creepy-eyed stare. That's... really... uncomfortable.]

Yeah, that... happens to all of us. One minute, you're in a nice big fluffy bed, falling asleep; the next minute, you find yourself dressed completely differently talking with weird, magical books. They don't make getting used to it easy either. Though it really does make you wonder how they get us into those clothes.

[This may or may not have plagued Sokka for no small amount of time.

At any rate, he doesn't close off the video right away but instead just looks a little weirded out at the camera. He actually looks behind him; maybe there was some weird monster about ready to attack him or something? Nope. But if Korra needs any confirmation, there will be a boomerang present on his back, what else?]

Korra! You're here! There really is a camera and I guess you could think of it like a mover - except it's more like a radio that lets you talk back and forth to people and even see them.

Jinora? Jinora! [ Korra is SO HAPPY to see her. ] What are you doing here? Please, please tell me this is some kind of spirit thing. Some kind of… very strange spirit thing involving mover-radios.

Where are you? I'll come find you. [Familiar faces are always welcome when waking up in an unknown place. She's already heading towards the village.] I was brought here just like you. And it's not really a spirit thing.

This is a whole other world and this particular place is called Luceti. Don't hurt your wings and I'll explain everything when I find you.

[ Korra. Korra is back. He wonders how long she'll stay this time (no, don't think like that ... do? He's not sure which is the right answer) but he replies to this in a tired sort of way as he looks down at his book from the shop where he and some version of her at least used to work together ]

[ Voice ]

"A while," what, is it really that far? I'm sure I could-

[ Wait a second- ] You know who I am? [ I mean sure she was pretty well known back home, what with being the Avatar and everything but that didn't mean she was recognized by a lot of people based on how she looked. Sorry, no old memories for her! ]

[ Hah. ] Eeeh, you don't recognize my melodious voice?

[When Korra rounds a corner, someone else will be doing the same, but from the other direction. She'll come face to face with, if not run into, one grumpy looking young man.]

Hey! Watch where you're going!

[ And BOOM! Korra walks right into the future Firelord and stumbles. Still on edge from the whole being KIDNAPPED thing, she raises a hand that's suddenly alight in flames.

But she's lived in a city long enough now that at his words she finds the flames fading and herself falling into old habits. ] You watch where you're going, jerk! I was here first! And you-[ wait a second ] You, uh. [ Oh, come ON. Was everyone she saw here going to be familiar in unsettling ways?! She just kind of stares at him really rudely for a moment. ]

[Wan naturally assumes she's trying to be stealthy for the same season he used to: trying to steal things and not get caught and get the crap kicked out of you. So he's... going to sneak up behind her. In a totally friendly and nonthreatening way, of course.

...you know what? It's probably a good thing she will recognize him because the common sense is not strong in this one. Still, Korra will hear what should be a very familiar voice behind her:]

You don't have to sneak around.

[a few months in luceti means his hair is a little longer, and access to all the food he would ever want to eat means he's slightly less noodle-y, and he now has access to clothes like the shirt he is wearing today. But he's still Wan.]

[ Don't you know you really shouldn't sneak up on people who are trying to sneak up on people?! Korra's already still freaking out a little bit after all of this and now there's a voice behind her. Naturally, she jumps a little. ] I-I'm not sneaking! I'm just-

[ Wait. That was a familiar voice. A really familiar voice. Almost slowly she turns around and is faced with a (slightly different looking) Wan in a shirt with some weird creatures on it.

For a second she just stares at him dumbstruck. Literally, mouth hanging open and everything. Then she lets out a strange noise and puts a hand to her head. ]

I'm dead. Am I dead? [ a beat. ] What are you wearing?

[Bulla waves and then realization dawns on her. Korra doesn't seem to remember anything about Luceti.]

...you have no idea who I am, do you?

"Back?" [ Why is it she keeps repeating herself like a parrotrabbit here? ] Uh, no, sorry. I have no idea who you are. But you seem to know me.

[ In her experience that's not usually a good thing, but this person doesn't sound smug about it. Only friendly. ]
